ミハマ35-Aと同一機種だが、シャッターユニット、シンクロ接点の位置（ミハマ35-Aはボディ左手側、ワコーAはシャッターユニット）など細部に相違がある。
ミハマ35-Aにはないシャッターチャージレバーがあるため、セルフコッキングではない可能性が高い（実物を触っていないため不明）。
